Thank you for taking the opportunity to learn how your school may benefit from using The Children’s Computer Corner, LLC program.  In most cases, we are a parent-sponsored program that will not place a financial burden onto your school nor by having our program will it add any responsibilities to the director.  We do it all – we bring in our state-of-the-art equipment, curriculum, bill and collect payments from the parents, offer staff and sibling discounts and through our weekly newsletters keep your parents informed about their child in computer class.  However, we do have a whole-school computer program that will allow every pre-school child to attend classes at a very affordable price – less than half the parent rate. 

We are delighted with the prospect that we may have an opportunity to work with your school!  Currently, we are in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Washington State and rapidly growing!  Area schools have been utilizing our program for their students ages two through kindergarten since 1998.  We are in accredited schools such as Tutortime, Kiddie Academy, Kindercare, Goddard, YMCA’s, and many more.  Numerous privately held childcare centers and preschools also enjoy our program in their facility.  Our curriculum as been designed by a teacher with a BS degree in Elementary Education specializing in Early Childhood Education, who understands how young children learn! 

We teach the children the parts of the computer and explain how each part of the computer is used, which in turn helps the children to treat the computer with respect and learn that it is a tool for learning and not a toy.  We pride ourselves in the fact that we change computers every three months so that the children have an opportunity to learn and become comfortable using both PC’s and Macs, a touch pad and a mouse, etc.  We also bring in a variety of peripherals such digital cameras and printers to enhance their learning experience.  Not only do the children learn how to use the computer, but we also work on a variety of software that changes every two to four weeks allowing the children to be challenged.  We reinforce reading and math readiness, science, languages, music, and art.  We practice using logical thinking skills and reasoning skills through software programs that allow the children to solve dilemmas and see the effects of the decisions that they make.  Our software encompasses characters that the children know and love.

We have small class sizes allowing the children to improve their socialization skills, develop team-building skills, increase attention span while allowing the children to have a great deal of hands on and individualized attention.  Using positive reinforcement, instilling an “I Can” attitude and creating a safe, nurturing environment, our children love computer classes. In fact, our motto is, “We calll it learning.  Children call it fun.”

We will work with your school to set up a schedule that will accommodate you, your staff and your parents.  We will also work together to achieve a payment plan that is reasonable for your parents and at the same time allow the school to financially benefit from the program as well.

All of our teachers have undergone a criminal record check and abuse history clearance. Our teachers have had experience working with children and we also provide ongoing training for our teachers to ensure that they can provide the maximum advantage to your students in the most warm and loving atmosphere.
